is the manager of the McDonalds on Oxford Street, which
was one of the first fast food restaurants opened.
The
relative clause in the first sentence is a defining clause.
It tells us what type of restaurant Mc Donald's is and is
therefore essential to the meaning of the sentence.
The
relative clause in the second sentence is a non-defining clause.
It gives us extra information about Mc Donald's.
