GRAMMAR - THE GERUND
(gramática - el gerundio)

El gerundio en espa�ol, se forma a�adiendo "ando" o "iendo". En Ingl�s, se pone "ing":
        to see = ver; seing = viendo
        to speak = hablar; speaking = hablando

EJEMPLO:
I am speaking = Yo estoy hablando

De vez en cuando un verbo se convierte en sustantivo ( por ejemplo. "el hablar"). En este caso se utiliza el gerundio.

EJEMPLO:
Speaking is probably the most important part of a language.
(El hablar es probablemente la parte m�s importante de un idioma)

Expresi�n preposicional: De ir = of going. Aqu�, "ir" actua como sustantivo.

EJEMPLO:
What time of day are you thinking of going?
�A qu� hora del d�a piensas ir?

"For" (para) m�s la preposici�n "to" no existe en ingl�s:

EJEMPLO:
Madrid es estupendo para vivir. (TAMBI�N: Madrid est� bien para vivir.)
Madrid is fine for to live. (INCORRECTO)
Madrid is fine for living. (CORRECTO)
