English:

The christening of a little boy.

A man is at the door. The man at the door is a priest. He is here for a christening. Christenings are a kind of ritual where someone old throws water at you, or so I understand. They are going to perform the christening on me. I am much exited because I am getting presents after this. Mommy bought me a new rattle. I had a rattle, but I’ve lost it, unfortunately. The new rattle is going to be great. I can already picture it: Red with blue stars.

They are moving all the furniture around. It’s like a game of musical chairs. In a game of musical chairs, you have to walk around a circle of chairs as music plays. The circle must be big enough to allow the people to sit comfortably. When the music stops, everyone sits down, and whoever cannot do it, loses. I don’t like this game. People get very violent and competitive.

The priest is grabbing me. He’s hands are cold and he is taking me to a tub with water. The water is a bit cold for my taste, but that’s all right. Everything is so quiet and soothing. Where’s my rattle? The priest must have taken my rattle. I didn’t know priests took babies’ rattles.
