Reading 10º: Dreams and reality
Amy aged 15 I live in a small flat with my Mum and brother. My mum is unemployed and so we do not have a lot of money. I have to earn money for my family. I have a part-time job in a cafeteria. I am a waitress. I work every evening after school and at the weekends. We have a hamster and a goldfish at home. I go to school in the centre of London and I wear a blue and white uniform.
Scott, aged 10 I live in a cottage in a village near Manchester. I live with my Mum, Dad, four brothers and one sister. I share my small bedroom with two of my brothers. My mum works in a pub and my Dad works in a hospital. I go to the village school. I have to walk there because we don't have a car. It takes me forty minutes. I have lots of friends. After school we play football together. I love football!
